The name Gubia is inspired by the classic gouge chisel, traditionally used in carpentry to carve round grooves into wood. References to traditional craftsmanship can be found in every range and accessory designed by Alf DaFrè. Designers

Gordon Guillaumier

Born in Malta in 1966, Gordon Guillaumier studied in Switzerland and England. He graduated in industrial design at the IED in Milan in 1991 and the following year he obtained a master's degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy in Milan.
